Most Stylish Dog Beds that won't spoil your decor
BackWe all want to pamper our dogs, the team at The Good Kennel Guide are certainly guilty of that, and providing them with a lovely, comfortable bed is certainly one way of doing that. However, is it possible to provide that ultimate comfort for your dog without spoiling the decor of your room? We like to think so, here are a few of the dog beds that we think tick the stylish and comfortable boxes.
How do I know what sized dog bed I need?
Before ordering a dog bed, it is imortant to make sure that it will be big enough for your dog to lay fully streched, if he should choose to. Measure your dog from nose to base of tail while he's in his stretched out sleeping position, then add 8" to 12" to determine the bed length or diameter. If in doubt, always round up in size to ensure maximum comfort. Then, obviously, just doublecheck to make sure that the bed you've selected will fit into the spot you've chosen for it to sit
What dog bed should I choose?
Before you make this important purchase, consider your dog's age, size, health etc. Dog beds should be sufficiently padded and made from a comfortable material. They should also be easily washable. If you want to take your dog bed camping or into the garden for example, then a more robust material is best. Waterproof or water resistant beds can be helpful in preventing them from getting damp.
Is it possible to get a stylish dog bed?
We believe so, think about how the dog bed will look in your home. A dog bed is a visible part of your home decor, it should reflect your own sense of style as well as your dog's. Consider choosing fabrics and colours that compliment the theme of your room. Take a look at a selection of our favourite stylish beds below.
